If I plug an Australian formatted power pack into an American Nintendo 64, will it work?
I bought a Nintendo 64 from the US, but I live in Australia, and the power pack that it came with blew. The console is supposedly still OK, but I have to buy a replacement power pack. I’ve spoken to a guy that repairs old game consoles and he said it should work, but will it still work if the power pak is in PAL format and the console is in the american format?
most likley not
the console is designed to run at 110 v and you are about to run 220 v through it
you need an orginal us powerpack and a step down converter unless you want to release the magic blue smoke
which usually means the equiptment went to the great electronics store in the sky
